PROFILE
Naoto Sakiya graduated Hochschule für Musik Köln, the Soloist Diploma Course at Toho Gakuen School of Music, and Musik Akademie Basel. He won the 1st prize of the Novosibirsk International Competition, the 3rd prize of Yehudi Menuhin International Competition, and the 3rd prize of internationaler Musikwettbewerb der ARD in the category String Quartet. He had studied under the guidance of Koichiro Harada, Gérard Poulet, Roland Daugareil, Daniel Sepec, and Rainer Schmidt.
He serves Solo Concertmaster at Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, and a member of Verus String Quartet.
The greatest feature of this bow is its perfect balance. It almost feels like part of my body. It is suited for all music scenes including playing as a concertmaster, a soloist, or being a player in a string quartet.
